Wish Him Good Luck

Strange. Tan Tee Beng is the only MP/ADUN that we knew each other in this country and he could still recognise me when we met. We played a few sessions of badminton many years ago when he was just defeated in the election.

I was happy when he was elected as MP represented PKR and not the other side. However, it is unfortuanate that he could not get along with the coalitions and choose to quit. However, I am also sad that he could not look at a bigger pictures that we are going to replace the race-based parties.

I might not agreed the reasons that he gave and the way he find excuses.

I am not close enough with him to know the real reasons. However, as a friend, we could only wish him a very good luck as so called "Independent MP."

Big Cleaning

Most of the Chinese carry out big cleaning session just before the New Year. The meaning of this session is to clear all unused things at home once a year. We sweep the whole house with water to clear all dust meaning "clearing old welcoming new".

So does the Pakatan Rakyat, I think it is high time for PR to do the same this time. Last year, PR lost a state government when the big cleaning took place. All PR supporters felt pain and angry of losing these frogs resulting lost of a state government. But what can we do? Nasi sudah jadi bubur.

This year just before the CNY again, some frogs in PKR wished to play the same tricks again threatening jumping over to BN by giving all sorts of stupid reasons and hoping making some hoo-haa to please the new boss. Of course, in the same time, these frogs tried to show their power when negotiate with the other coalitions that eager to get them.

And this time, the PR leaders and supporters seemed made up their mind and said:" Please go, all rubbish please go far-far and it is better joining the other side making them a bigger rubbish dumping ground."

Agreed, it is high time for PR to carry out a big cleaning, to clean all these rubbish who the heart in not here and only making unnecessary noise now and then.

Whose Teh Tarik is Sweeter?

More and more people said PR will not win over the federal government next election. The poll even said BN will return its more than two-third majority if the general election was held tomorrow.

So, what do you think?

As I said earlier, the new PM know how to play politics and he is not sitting there waiting the party to be taken over the 50 years dynasty in Malaysia.

The campaign and the branding tactics to make Najib as popular PM work for the last few months and bring back some supports from the ground.

However, as the advertisement in the television, it is exciting but the excitement could not last long. PM or the UMNO has to show the real reformation within the party, within the BN and within the government agencies.

Is he able to reform the evil warlords in the party, unreliable coalitions and rotten bureaucracy? And more importantly, he himself too involved in so many un-answered question marks?

We might blame PR for unable to keep the momentum and unable or slow to materialise some of the promises they made during the last elections. However, generally, they are comparatively a better choice to replace BN and they are still on the right tracks to a better Malaysia.

Probably, we put too much hopes at PR to make wonders in all sectors within the short period that unable to deliver by BN for the last 50 years. Most people tends to blame PR more when they made simple mistakes but people normally has higher tolerance when BN made blunders.

However, the results of the survey is a good alarm clock to PR. Pakatan shall take this opportunities to settle the internal differences and emphasis their similarity to show us that they are a capable alternative government that people could believe in.

Politic is about the matter of majority people. PR might have talked a lot on "high level politics" like corruption, policies, democracy, etc., but as a ruling government in several states, the PR government shall also show that they are capable to take care of people's daily life problems and their rice bowl.

Are we going to waste the Oppoturnity again?

Hadi again reiterated PAS remains in Pakatan.

But PAS has to really show that they are truly in Pakatan without any hesitation in their action.

The recent incidents such as beer sales, protesting of several concerts, unnecessary quarrels had made the PR supporters confused and disappointed.

These had made Tok Guru Nik Aziz mad and urged to have EGM to remove all those controversy's leaders.

While most of the PR lawmakers still dream that they will again retain their seats in next GE with the same tsunami sentimental, then these dreamers will waste the opportunity to make the 2-party system come true.

The recent post "Is the opposition wasting a historic opportunity?" from Tunku Abdul Aziz best warning to those dreamers to wake up and carry out their job properly.

And "民联如何逐步断送胜望？” (How PR gradually ruins its victory?) posted from Wong asking if PR could take over federal government if Najib resolve Parliament tomorrow. He doubted only the "die hard" PR supporters could believe it.

Najib government had strategically won back reasonably big shares of "center region" votes recently and stabilised East Malaysia politics.

He has an advantages as federal government that could use all resources and institutions and did not mind to copy some of the "good policies" that "only going to but not yet" implemented by Pakatan Rakyat. These made the "center region" voters start to hesitate where they should cast their votes.

I am sure the PR leaders know this more than us. It is a good move to apply as an official coalition but they have to act very fast in all levels to show the People that they are capable to rule as the government.

Why the Pig exists in the World?

One of the blogger I follow, Romerz felt very tired & upset blogging of better Malaysia these two days in view of recent disappointed actions within the Pakatan Rakyat from their leaders, lawmakers and members.

To show my support and encouragement to him and wish he could move on the life as he want, I will not talk much about politic today, instead talk a bit on the Pig.

Sometime I feel that the "God" is very naughty. He pretty know that pork is one of the common food for most on the Chinese but is prohibited for Muslim (or in this case, the Malays). Instead of putting them away each other, He put them together in the same common community.

This has created a lot of complication between this 2 races. Their nerve will immediately become tense whenever issue about pig occurred.

But the smartest "God" would not purposely create chaos or complication among these different races. He must have his reason.

The God in fact want to teach us about understanding, tolerances & respects. People live in this earth together despite of whatever races must have mutual understanding, tolerances and mutual respects.

In Kedah abattoir's closure, if the place is no longer suitable to do its job hygienically anymore and create uncomfortable feelings to other races, it should be agreed to be relocated to a more suitable place that equipped with more proper and hygienic system.

On the other hand, the other party too should understand and respect the culture of the other race and always be fair and reasonable in all policies making.

This is nothing to do with religions and races, not even the problem of pig, but it is just about mutual respect & understanding.

Isn't this Bridge of Understanding more meaningful?

Sometimes we have to respect our ex-ex-PM for his persistence to always find all ways to make sure his dreams come true. The new push is to urge the government to resume the "crook bridge" project that his successor failed to make that happened for him.

But, we have to give more respect to this couple, an old and young man, PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz and DAP Perak Secretary Nga Kor Ming. Nga had take initiative to read Al-Quran and recited in one of the public event.

Unfortunately, he was accused to have smeared the Al-Quran by Malaysian Muftis' Conference.

However, one of the most respectable leader, Nik Aziz had came out to defence Nga that this instead a very good start to build the "bridge of understanding" among the Muslim and non-Muslim.

Isn't this "bridge of understanding" more meaningful than that "crooked" bridge?
