Who's smiling is a phoney? (I asked my friend from penangfengshui who know face reading to advise)

Few minutes to end today, the "change sky" day that many people waiting for. No heavy rain, no thunder storm, but a normal hot day.

Both of them smilingly claimed that they are the winner of the day. One announced that he had enough supports to form the new government and now PM-in-waiting. The other ran back to home town, refused to meet together and ask the challenger to name the names.

But the whole nation is confused, the rumours and news fly all over the sky. At the end of the day, no confirmed answer is announced. The games continue..................

One of them must be lying or pretending that they are the winner, struggling to find the excuses or tactics to win the games. But this should not take long.

However, the winner is the PEOPLE. The whole nation looked peaceful, patient and calm. This was the picture i took at KL Sentral yesterday, on my way to Melaka. All people busy with their daily work. I was then came back to the same place to have "Buka Puasa" with my friends. Again, the restaurant full of people, busy interacting with friends and colleagues.

Today, we have the same normal day. Working, meeting, having our meals at the public and went home. Of course, most of the people were also busy following up latest news about the game above.

Thus, I think the only winner are the whole Malaysian. We have shown our maturity, understanding and well prepared of any changes in politics.

While the whole Malaysians are still confused with either the transition of power had been taken into place, let us take this opportunity to celebrate this day:

Today marked the day for forming of Malaysia consist of Peninsular Malaysia (9 states), Sabah, Sarawak & Singapore in 1963. (Singapore eventually exit in 1965)

Besides the day for "change sky" by Anwar Ibrahim, the 916 in 2008 shall also be remembered as:

a) Sabah & Sarawak are back into the head of Malaysian especially from people in peninsular like a long lost brothers.

b) A true Malaysian Concept is accepted by more and more Malaysian from all races since 308.

Dream Team

In fact, the study tour to Taiwan by BN is a smart choice. I mean to study their politic, not the agricultural. The Kuomintang, the biggest and strongest party in Taiwan, has a lot of similarities with BN, or specifically UMNO. They ruled Taiwan for many decades with all sort of tactics preventing the opposition views to grow. However, the split of party in 1994 causing the Kuaomintang starting to weaken. Finally, they are defeated by the opposition party, Democratic Progressive Party in 2000and are defeated again in year 2004.

The defeats caused the new generation of its member to force the leadership (like Lien Chan) to allow the promotion and subsequently, consolidation of democracy process in the party, which were previously fully controlled by the old leadership of Kuomintang.

The process allows younger and more grass-root approach leaders like Ma Ying-jeou, representing the brand new party image, successfully got back their presidency ship in Year 2008.

So, should we hope for the dream team to re-branding UMNO?

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

Mid-Autumn Festival, a festival symbolics the family reunion. In thoes day, when communication and travels are difficult, family members tried very hard to come back on that day after a long time away from their parents. This practice may not so important nowadays as the family members could meet easier and more often, but family members will express their best wishes on this day to their beloved.

However, the festival this year is more meaningful to the Malaysian. The ISA detained 3 people just before the festival. Fortunately, the reporter is back after taking a police car's day tour from BM-->Penang Island-->Ipoh (U-turn back on the way to KL) --> BM Home. But, how are Teresa Kok, RPK, Hindraf members' and those are detained not because they had made something bad to the nation.

While Malaysian celebrate the festival with our family today, they also send all their best wishes to family who are unable to reunion due to this infamous detention-without-trial law.

The moon cake is delicious, but it also carry messages (since Yuan dynasty) that the PEOPLE's POWER is able to determine our own future in our country.

Stand Together Again

The New Malaysian stand together again, in front of the ISA, condemning of its later action. No matter what reasons behind it, SAY NO TO ISA.

The PEOPLE OF MALAYSIAN had shown our unity, maturity, understanding and appreciation of human rights and peace regardless of races and religions.

How about them that still reluctance to accept the facts?

Operasi Lalang Episode II

A day after the Cabinet order of lifting of the certain websites, 3 newspaper, the Sun, Sin Chew Jit Poh and Suara Keadilan have been issued show-cause. "Coincidentally", RPK were arrested under ISA today.

The beginning of "Operasi Lalang" Episode II?

Are we going backwards 21 years ago, 1987?
