Another Project Kerajaan BN ...........Collapse again
Another project "kerajaan BN" collapsed.
When stadium at Trengganu collapsed, the fortunate part was no body killed. But unfortunately, everybody was soon forgot the incident. No report was published until now. No body seems took things seriously.
When the bridge crossing the Sg Kampar was collapsed last night. Unfortunately, 1 student killed and 2 still missing. Any "fortunate" for the government to take things seriously now? However, the history shown that they will still never take things seriously, the incident will be forgotten very soon again.
Then, we will wait for more and more tragedies to happen.
When we want things fast and cheap,
When the contracts were awarded based on the "cablities" and not capabilities,
When the project contractors focus only on the profits but not the quality and responsibilities,
When the professionals emphasis more on marketing rather than technical issues,
When the "deal maker" are considered more significat than engineers,
When the People allows things like corruptions, mis-management, incompetency, etc to continue happen,
These are what we get.

The Real MCA President
Everybody was so busy for the last few months.
OTK was busy, CSL was busy, MCA ministers wer busy, MCA central committee was busy, central delegates were busy, MCA outdated leaders were busy, MCA upcoming leaders were busy, reporters were busy, restaurants were busy, VCD sellers were busy, banner makers were busy, we "irrelevant Chinese busy body" were also busy, etc., etc. Everybody were so busy and rushing even the past president also fell down and broke his arm. Finally, everybody was just seemed "kay poh chi".
Many power camp also surface for the last few months. Ong gang, Chua gang, Liow gang, 3rd force gang, liow-kong combo team, Liow-Wee combo team, kong-ng combo team, etc.
And all MCA issues, moral issues, empty promises issues, who stab who's back, who jump camp, who signed the letter asking OTK to resign, OTK resign or not resign, EGM1, EGM2, etc, etc.
All settled in one day with peace plan initiated by the real "Power" or probably we should name it as "1 Power". MCA should have called it in earlier.
You guess who is in "Power"?

Could UMNO Laugh All the Way?
Yes, the UMNO President Najib and his team were laughing loudly.
After one and half year of depression and always teased by the PR members everything they did after 308, finally, the '1 Malaysian' looked like having a good sales among the People. They won the first by-election in Peninsular Malaysia, after 7 defeats, even though their candidates was tainted.
Yes, not only the wife and the team felt so touching watching at her wonderful husband and speeches, but also the People especially the non-Malays. They also felt like their tears almost drop when the KJ did not raised the Keris, but asked the Malays to end their siege mentality.
The UMNO President too said now UMNO is for ALL, not only for the Malays as for the last 50 years. Now, I think the non-Malays could not control their tears anymore............
Yes, Najib know the games and how to do re-branding. From the Merdeka Center survey, there are still 47% unconvinced and 21% don't know Pakatan Rakyat can run the government.Pakatan could said anything "bad" about the BN, but they have to convice the 47%+21% of the voters.
While the PR still unstabil and fighting among themselves for the "still un-materialised" federal government, this is a good opportunities for the UMNO to fight back, of course, using all resources, as long as they continue to rule in the next election.
What do you think about the high profiles re-branding?
One comment I heard from the RFM today is good: "The re-branding is like the packaging of the moon cake. It is so beautiful and more and more attractive & impressive every year, but the taste never change, still the old moon cake."

MCA Big Heads battle finised, Small Heads battle starts
What do you think about the MCA' EGM results?
I think the "lao sai" delegates created another bigger tragedy. This reminded me a HK movie about the gangsters. The gangsters in all areas were initially controlled by 2 big gangster heads and they always fight to expand their influences to other areas. The situation was chaos but still under-controlled by the Police. However, after 2 big gangster heads were killed, the situation instead getting better but get more chaos as now, the gangsters were controlled by more heads, but s smaller heads.
Of course, I am a non-MCA members and certainly not a central delegate. I have no say of their decision but just could not understand how the delegates think when they casted their votes. Probably they have too many personal feelings and considerations until they ignore the bigger picture of which direction the party should go.
But as a Chinese ( I do not agree they use the name of Chinese in their party name), but since they claimed that they represent Chinese community, then we have the rights to say something here. As far as most Chinese are concerned, MCA played its roles in their older days but they had gradually lost faith and supports within Chinese community since many years ago when they were happily controlled by the "lao sai" presidents and UMNO.
Whether you like him or not, OTK might be too arrogant and a bit stingy the way he politic, but he is the only President that the members (and Chinese?) could put some hopes that he may be able to reinvent the party back to its original roles.
But he was rejected by the 1141 central delegates.
It is no point to say this now and what is the future of MCA? Do you think the Kong, Liow, Ng, Wee and others could replace the leadership of chaos MCA now?
马华江湖从此又多事, and we still could not free from flooding with massive MCA news in the papers.

1 Win by-election
On Sunday, the polling date of 9th by-election after 308 in Bagan Pinang.
BN field thier "most popular", "sure win" but "controversy" candidate in their stronghold constituency, Mohd Isa to contest.
The intention of the PM or BN is only one, 1 WIN. (after 7 defeats in Peninsular)
As reported, BN leads all the way in the campaign from the first day. Even our DPM is confident this time and said Isa is impossible to lose.
Whatever results is, the lessons we could learn from this by-election:
a) Is Isa the "most popular" as claimed and still shine?
b) Is BN/Isa a sure win?
c) Could Pakatan improve thier influences into BN stronghold consituency?
d) Could majority of the people accept politicians that had black mark of money politics?
e) What is the distribution of supports between Malay/Chinese/Indian to BN and Pakatan?
But the most interesting part is, what if BN/ISA lose?
The Battle between 2 Heads
If you like to watch and feel excited with election results, then this weekend might be the super-weekend to you.
On this Saturday, the battle berween 2 heads of MCA, OTK and CSL in the EGM to decide who has to go and indirectly, one of the both will basically end their political career in MCA.
But to us, a non-MCA member but a Chinese, the battle is just a story between the 2 leaders and the 2377 central delegates. For the last few weeks, they were just busy finding supports from their delegates and not the people, not even their 1million members. They did not tell us clearly what they are going to do if they win in this EGM and stay power as the biggest Chinese political party leader.
This is the problem with MCA, they spent most of the time meeting the delegates when they pay visits to the contituency as they have to get their supports to climb higher in the party power hierarchy ladder. Because of this, the leaders hardly have chance to meet people and subsequently, they lost sensitivity to the expectations of the grassroots and normal people. This caused them a huge defeats during last election.
It is good to settle this issue quick. ( so that we do not be flooded with this MCA news everyday in the papers). However, in my opinion, this EGM could settle the issue but not the problems. MCA might take a long time to settle down dplits within party and more importantly, could they still able to gain back the Chinese supports in the future?

Please Focus to Serve Penang People First
With less than 2 years of winning the power to govern Penang, speculations had been heard that the state Pakatan Rakyat (PR) is plagued by infighting following calls by PKR youth leaders to rotate his post among parties within the opposition bloc.
(The PKR youth leader denied later in his blog).
This is another typical story of power fighting even before they success to get the power.
Ouui........... young men, do you still remember the story of 3 Gerakan strongmen (2 Teng and 1 Lee) fighting who is the Penang CM before the last election.
What "Penangkia" will do? They will throw all of them away...............
Please focus to serve the Penang people first.

Cake is not Enough Now
At one time after 308, MCA, MIC, Gerakan & PPP blamed UMNO for causing their defeat in the general election and some members even threatened to leave BN if the "Tai Ko" did not change their attitude.
Finally, they decided to continue royalty to their "Tai Ko" as before, hoping that they could continue sharing the "overflow" power from this "Tai Ko".
However, after a few defeats from the recent by-elections and the results showed that these partners failing to gain back their supports and worse, they are currently also facing a serious internal problems within the party, the heart of "Tai Ko" UMNO start to lose their patience and confidence with their partners.
According to the reports from the 3-days closed door retreat in Janda Baik attended by UMNO divisions, suggestions to take back Malay-majority seats from these coalitions (MCA, MIC, Gerakan & PPP) had been raised to ensure a better winning possibility in the next election. They also urged to put priority on Malays votes rather than non-Malays.
This time "chia lat liao", the partners that used to benefit from these seats will be flew off and the "Tai Ko" might also start to change their heart will not love them anymore. They might also lost more votes as the "Tai Ko" may also focus more to strengthen their Malays votes first.
Now, they could see the bad effects of race-based party coalitions when the "cake" is not enough to share.

Debate, Again?
Aiyoyo.........Do we still need this debate.........on KBP?
(If you read Chinese papers this few days, Gerakan and DAP "challenge in the air" to debate on KBP issue.)
What for? The village is flat now and all the villagers had made their decisions and the debate could not help anything. If they want to debate, they are still many more issues. The immediate "time bomb" will be the Tanjong Tokong, but somehow, they only hope if the PM could solve their problems.
