Kita Bukan Anak Tumpangan

MCA is so fortunate found a scapegoat from a small little tiny division chairman from one corner in Penang to be blamed for the BN loss in Permatang Pauh. The racist statement made by the division chairman certainly made all chinese community upset. But this is not the first time and definitely not the last time you will hear this.

However, do MCA need to trigger their whole party machine to protest on this tiny and insignificant guy? Don't they know that majority of the Chinese community will still not satisfy even this guy apologise? or the MCA leaders just want to indirect the blame and show their unhappiness to their eldest brother in the BN, but yet dare not bring up directly.

The funny part is that the Penang Party Chairman said he did not aware about this, never heard, never read from the main media. Thus, NO COMMENT.

Biar berapa ribu signature you ambil pun tak dak guna macam ini.

MCA, let straight to the point. (Hope that you understand the source and where is the problem)

The wheel of Feng Shui Rotating

My friend in Penang Feng Shui said:"Feng Shui is always rotating." and the 'yun' (luck) is 20 years period. Now, BN had gone through 2.5 period. So is the 'yun' now belong to PR or BN?

Veon said:"The last warning to UMNO-led BN: Repent, reform or to be damned."

Looking at their leaders comments today, do you think they repent and going to reform?

I think the feng shui start rotating.

The arrogant, stubborn, self-admiration Giant fated will end up live lonely in his castle with his glory memories, big but sick body.........................

PEOPLE Sounded the Alarm Clock for 2nd Time

Probably the 1st alarm clock was not loud enough to wake up BN on 8 March. The PEOPLE sounded them for the 2nd time, more solid and louder.
Anwar had a landslide win at the Permatang Pauh by-election announced this evening. A majority of 15,671 votes at 81.01% turnouts as compared with his wife during 8 March at 13,388 majority at 82% turnouts.
Besides kampung or home town factor for Anwar, the PEOPLE endorsed a clear and firm message to the ruling party, NO to arrogant, racist, corruption, cronyism & nepotism.
The PEOPLE felt that the ruling party still fast asleep when the first alarm clock triggered on 8 March. Thus, now they triggered the 2nd time with more solid and loudly. BN is better wake up their mind and work harder in correct direction before too late. However, my brother said they probably in coma.
Tonight, many people could not fall asleep. The MPs in East Malaysia, the Gerakan, the MCA, DSAI and Najit except the one in Putrajaya, sleep sweetly, fully utilise before move out.

Hope for Change Continue

Again, the raining day, wet, muddy, huge crowd but in peaceful and discipline manner, the people consists of all races gathered again at Jalan Baru, Seberang Perai area to participate the Grand Finale organised by PKR, to campaign for their chief in the Permatang Pauh by-election to be held on 26 August 2008.
DSAI, particularly his political policies approach, had managed to attract the multi-racial Malaysian gathered in the same field, listen to his agenda to re-build the New Malaysia. Do not need to repeat his speech as you may able to listen it everywhere.
However, the sense of hopes and supports had never happened for long time in Malaysia. And we may agreed that the multi ethnics had never been so close & friendly chit-chatting about the "susah cari makan", " Chong Wei should win", etc.
Random chit-chat with one of the Malay pak cik standing beside me. He said:"akbar cakap banyak terhadap dia, baik kita datang sendiri dan dengar apakah sebenarnya berlaku?" I think the old tactics can't work efficiently nowadays.
Not because of DSAI, but i think his political approach that attract the supports. If he go back the track as BN did, i think he will also be kicked out by the PEOPLE. The PEOPLE realise and just want to show that only they will decide who is going to lead the country.
Despite the heavy rains, we bacame the RED DOT again after 306 in Han Chiang and delivered our supports to him, and now he will decide his journey of his history.......

PR Gives Hope, People Give Chance

Dr Toh Kin Woon said:' I did not betray Gerakan, as i did not betray Gerakan political ideology."
So, Dr Toh left the party together with his ideology, what about thoes still stay behind? Are they stay without ideology? (of course, there are many members that still stay with their original party ideology). What i mean are their leaders. The party leader said they will become a small party in PR if they join them. Ah! he still think he is big in BN.
The respected 79 years old man, Lu Ting-yi, a door guidance of chinese education, confronted with Anwar during he was the Education Minister in BN, step up and put hope in Anwar to give wider development in the chinese education.
MCA leaders (once again, not all the members) still keep on attacking Anwar for what he did to Chinese school during his time with BN and proud of distributing tokens from BN to the few schools only during by-election time. Quoted from Lu, eliminating the schools is the agenda of the chief now, no one could overturn this agenda if he sat in that position.
At lease, PR give us a hope and we have to give them a chance.
(In fact, we may not in proper position to talk about their party's future. we just feel "beh tahan" the way they campaign in this by-election and fankly said, a bit shame on the parties.)

Anwar "Sai Lang"

Attendeded Anwar ceramah at Taman Tun Hussain Oon last night, one of the strongest base area for Ariff Shah. As usual, a huge crowd consists of all races. The ceramah was warmed up by speakers from Pakatan Rakyat and then Anwar. I attended a few of Anwar ceramah since he was released and found that he has been consistent in his political approach. No matter the audience are Malays, Chinese, Indian or other races, he has been talking the same thing to all, a new Malaysian political approach fair for all races. This by-election, I think Anwar has "Sai Lang" (thrown all his chips to buy the last card in poker game) in his political career. He was accused as "Pengkhianat Melayu", "Agen Cina & India" and now "Agen Yahudi & America" by the BN government. Precisely, he is playing with the fire, touching the most sensitive part of the Malays, the "Ketuanan Melayu". But, he still speak the same thing, trying hard to explain and convince the Malays the real & truth reasons of all problems happen recently and the win-win scenario if all races are fair treated. No matter you like it or not, Anwar is the only Malay leader (since Dato Oon Jaafar) at the moment that dare to market the New Economic Agenda, which fair to all races to replace the New Economic Plan, that does not really help the poor Rakyat. If he lost in this by-election, we will have to wait for another many years for another strong leader to speak out for the same political ideology. (The interesting part is, in the previous election, BN often accuse other parties like DAP and PAS used racial issues to win votes. Now, Anwar had made the 2 parties sit down and talk about national unity but BN is the one now, play with racial issues in their campaign.)

Penang Head-to-Head Debate

Syabas Agenda Daily again successfully organised the debate between the 2 head-to-head of Penang, the current & former Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng and Koh Tsu Koon on the hottest topic in town recently, the land controversial. Also thanks the 2 participants for their courage to face the public.
The nature of debate will usually do not end with truth or results agreed by both parties. One reason is due to the time constraint, but specifically its debate topic, each side has their own facts they believe in. Thus, the viewers will be the only judges, viewing from their languages, the way they present their points, their ad-hoc response to the questions, etc.
LGE, using his more lively baba style Bahasa, in more forcefully way asking KTK to explain how many land scam cases and the amount involved under BN government, why the officers involved are not been punished and what the steps taken to prevent these cases to reoccur.
KTK managed to present his facts with gentle and smooth style, Bahasa in academician way and stood his facts firmly. He claimed that the case is now in court case procedures and there are no intention of crime as investigated by BPR.
KTK shown an unusual tough and loud reaction when response to LGE attacks. We wish he could keep the way like this when he face his BN chief and even the son in law, when cases like accusing about the marginalisation happened.
My friends felt that KTK "check & shoot" seldom happen in Malaysia, what is normally practice is "No check & No Shoot" by the previous goverment.
The debate itself is the winner and this should continue................

Olympic in Permatang Pauh

While I am writing this post to say thank you to Chong Wei contribution in raising the Malaysia Flag in Beijing Olympic, i think he is being pulled into the both BN and PR full swing campaign in Permatang Pauh by-election.
Chong Wei failed to take back the first Gold Medal in Olympic, defeated by a better performance China player Lin Dan in the Men Single Finals. However, CW had done well in this game, beating a few good players before he was defeated in the final. He brought the medal back after 12 years since 1996 in Atlanta Games. Coincidentally, fortunate or unfortunate, he is also voter for Permatang Pauh (I suppose) and immediately became the best ad star for both parties, which is currently in the tough fight to win the by-election. He will be pulled around this few days around the battle field to show supports. Just wonder, who will CW vote to? Anyway, congratulation CW, you make us penang kia proud.

Gerakan Awakening

Finally, we heard a real Gerakan voice surface from under the table, wanting the party considering to pull out from the Barisan, claiming that its top leader party, UMNO chief - are only interested in one particular community. On the same day, one of our most respect politician, the former state exco-member of Penang, Dr Toh Kin Woon, step into PKR Action Office at Gagasama Garden and declared support of Anwar Ibrahim for his effort towards political revolution in the country. Dr Toh is one of the most senior, experience and reputable Gerakan member in Penang. Dato Tan Lian Hoe, current Deputy Information Minister, also the Wanita Chief of Gerakan, announced today in the Perak Gerakan assembly, the party should consider of pulling out from the BN coalition in view of its continual policies of racial characters.

Gerakan all of the sudden awake and recall their original ideology since its founding in 1968, a non-racial and non-religious approach.

They are in dilemma again recently when they have an different standings with their component chief, UMNO in the issues of Bar Council Forum and Proposal to open UiTM quota to non-ethnic group.

Now, Start Campaign

So, now the candidates are in place.
PKR - DS Anwar Inbrahim
BN - Ariff Shah
Independant - Hanafi bin Hamat
PKR and BN kick off their by-election campaign officially. The candidates are accompanied by their party leaders and supporters. As reported, PKR has obviously more turnouts than BN. This is unusual in the history of BN as they normally able to gather a huge crowd.
We could smell the wave of "CHANGE" continue......
Even though there are issues uncompromising among the coalitions parties in Pakatan Rakyat. The parties finally come to understanding of be together to face the challenge of Barisan Nasional and more significantly, a political revolution of the country.
Despite of strengthening the relationship between the component parties, UMNO choose to ignore their members again. UMNO is like an unawakened giant, continue to use the racial issues in his by-election campaign. They did not realise that this campaign even is not popular among the Malays. Worse thing is this has made their strong & supportive component parties such as MCA, Gerakan & MIC into dilemma and embarrassing. They face a lot difficulties when facing with non-Malays voters in convincing them to support them.

Hey, boys, we are in the Olympic now!

The whole Malaysians are concentrating for the Olympic game tonight between our Lee Chong Wei vs Lin Dan from China, chasing for our 4th Olympic Medal or more importantly, our first Gold Medal in Olympic Games since 1956.
The Malaysia players had been worked so hard in the international tournament arena to fight for the name of Malaysia. In Olympic, Razif and Jailani Sidek earned our first medal (bronze) in 1992, while Cheah Coon Keat and Yap Kim Hock made a little bit better for the Silver Medal in 1996. Rashid Sidek also took the bronze during 1996 in Atlanta. Now, the whole Malaysians come together tonight and hope we can earn our first Gold Medal tonight, with our own effort.
In the meantime, our boys got so excited demonstrating everywhere in Malaysia, protesting the proposal to open 10% quota of UiTM for other ethnics. Hey, boys & girls, our country is in Olympic now. We could not tell the China, USA or Indonesia and said,:" Hey, brothers, your country population is so huge, that is unfair, could you give 5 points handicap so that we are competing in the fair platform level?" I could tell you for sure, everyone will look and laugh at you.
So, boys, if you wish to continue be the CHAMPION in Kampung Pisang vs Kampung Nenas, please go ahead and we really do not have time to go with you.
Instead, the university should be proud and confident when they are chosen to open the quota. This means that the university is up to the international standard and able to compete with others.
Hey, boys and girls, as an undergraduates, please look globalisation and be confident, as the country is depend on you all in the near future.
We really has no time for you as we have to go to mamak store now to support our player in Beijing with our friends Ahamd & Muthusamy.
A real Malaysia Boleh tonight.

The Battle Begins

The battle begins!
Nomination on 16 Aug and Poll on 26 August.
PKR : Anwar Ibrahim BN: Still Searching
Pakatan Rakyat : PKR, PAS, DAP
Barisan Nasional : UMNO, others negligible or not significant
Manifesto PR : Perubahan, Harapan Baru untuk Malaysia, hari ini bentuk kerajan, esok harga petrol turun
Menisfesto UMNO : Wan Azizah tiada bertanggunjawab, Ketuanan Melayu kena diperlihara, pembangunan, stabliliti, DSAI ada kes sodomy.
MCA & Gerakan : We do not know what can they tell and promise the people

Perubahan dan Harapan Baru

"Perubahan" and "Harapan Baru" are the promises given by the Pakatan Rakyat leaders - Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Guan Eng and Hussam Musa during the Ceramah at Seberang Jaya, 3 August. "Saya agen Melayu, saya agen Cina, saya agen India, saya agen Rakyat" "Anak melayu anak saya, anak cina anak saya, anak India, Iban, Kadazan, semua anak saya." "Nak bantu melayu kena tindas cina, nak tolong cina pukul melayu, ini politik lama" "Bahasa Melayu bahasa kebangsaan, tetapi bahasa Inggeris bahasa antarabangsa, bahasa cina bahasa ekonomi di rantau ini, lebih banyak bahasa dipelajari, lebih baik untuk kami" "Jika mahu angkat melayu, kita kena juga angkat orang cina, india, iban, kadazan yang lemah." Could we trust them? my question is, do we have other choice? This remind us Datuk Oon Jaafar. 50 years ago, he suggested the UMNO membership be openned to all people of Malaya, irrespective of their ethnicity. Unfortunately, the ideas of non-comunnal party was rejected at that time. Is it time this 50's years agos dream can come true this time? We do not know. Could DSAI made the dream come true for us? We do not know. The only thing we know is UMNO, MCA and even Gerakan are not going to do that. So, do we have other choice?

Unfortunately, this is not graph of petrol price

Graph sometimes could tell a lot of story.
If this graph plot the examination of your lovely son and daughter, I think you are now will be very worry and looking up and down for the solutions to make this marks going up. You may look for more tuition for your children, to restrict them playing computer games too often, etc......
If this graph represents the yearly performance of the CEO in the corporate, I think he had been sacked by the board of directors. Needless to say, the business may be already closed down with this graph.
The graph only popular if it represents the petrol price or the inflation rate.
Somehow, our big gun still feel very comfortable and said that the up and down of the popularity is very normal for a politician, even though we could not see any "up" along the graph track.
Good luck to him.

Welcome Home, War Ko (Abang Anwar)

Welcome home, War Ko!
Finally , DSAI choose to come back to his home ground. His wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah resigned as Permatang Pauh MP on 31 July, allowing his husband to contest in the by-election to be held within 60 days.
I think Anwar made a right and smart choice of choosing to come back home.
Firstly, he started his political journey here in 1982 until 1998, when he was kick out by ex-PM and finally jailed for sodomy charges.
Secondly, he did not sacrifice any of his counterparts' political future in his party, even though they all more than willing to give up the seat to him. In the very beginning, Dr Wan Azizah had declared clearly that her participation is mainly to act for her husband. She will return him the seat when time is ready.
Thirdly, Anwar has the biggest supports here from all people, and it is believe that they will continue to support and welcome him to come home.
BN may have much to say about the resignation and created by-election from this husband and wife from now on. Whatever is it, he had been restricted for a long 10 years barred from the participating in the election. Let's everyone has a wider heart to allow him to contest and let the People to decide whether to let him continue to play role in Malaysia politics arena.
Let's have a fair battle.
