When people steal iPhone, we steal SAND

The country FDI plunge 81% last year.
If this happened in any corporation, the CEO might need to say bye-bye and step down.
But this is of course do not happen in Malaysia. It is no problem if they do not want to step down, but please do not talk rubbish such as the country is uninterested in attracting investments in the low-end sectors that are flooding other regional economies.
As long as they could help the economy, there is no issue either they are low-end or high-end. And frankly said, Malaysia is actually not that "high-end" as the leaders always think of. The country is too dependent on the natural resources especially the petroleum, and this soon might be exhausted. But where are our other competitiveness?
When other people steal iPhone design, we are still steal sand to sell. What hope do we have?
What make us worried is when this current arrogant government had to launch subsidy-cut. This made us think that the country really in the dilemma.
So, stop talking nonsense and wake up the mind, to bring back the confident at all levels before we go worse.

With so many restrictive trade law and entitlement policy given to a selected group of high position and well connected ethnics, foreign investors and institutions had enough of all these nonsenses, they decide to invest elsewhere other than Malaysia in south east Asia region, it had already happened few years ago with outflow of capital by passed inflow in big amount, it is too late to turn the tide and will go on until the change of federal government before a new dawn can arrive in Malaysia.

Present ruling elite doesn't blink a bit at the current rate of decline on FDI is perfectly understood. Most of the capital inflow in private sector create jobs for ordinary Malaysians but not those hold privilege status and in special position in our society, less FDI will means lesser employment opportunity for ordinary Malaysians in private sector, which mainly belong to lower income group and did not affect government employees at all. It is not something worth for the officials to lose sleep over with in their daily governing of our nation. lol!
