Samy Vellu upset of not being allowed to return to the newly set up Cabinet by Najib and not given back the Minister of Works to MIC, considering pulling out of the Cabinet. MIC claimed that this is unfair to the Indian Community.
On the other hand, Gerakan and MCA are satisfied and thankful to the new PM for additional representatives in the Cabinet. All leaders are now rewarded with the Cabinet post, no matter they won or lost in the last GE.
MCA, MIC & Gerakan believed that the more representatives in the Cabinet will help to regain back their supports in the respective communities.
But, do the PEOPLE really care who are the MINISTERS?
If the PEOPLE really care, Samy Vellu, a so called experienced & long timers would not lose to Jayakumar, a small party leader.
If the PEOPLE really care, Koh Tsu Koon and his 3 potential Penang CMs would not have lost to new & young DAP candidates.
If the PEOPLE really care, those MCA members who held ministers and exco members posts would not have lost in the last GE.
What PEOPLE really care are the Ministers who will put PEOPLE at the first priority in all their policies. All policies must take care of the people instead of cronies own interests. All unfriendly rules and acts like ISA, OSA, information, human rights, etc shall be removed. People only care if the ministers able to govern the country properly, fairly & effectively.
PEOPLE DO NOT REALLY CARE WHO ARE THE MINISTERS?
Do not forget in 308 GE, PEOPLE had chosen those candidates who held no posts in the government. Instead, they were only giving HOPES and PROMISES to change.
