Mansor the new DCM I of Penang
Dr Mansor Othman finally made himself as new Penang state assemblyman representing Penanti. He will be also recommended to be the DCM I of Penang and expected to be sworn in this coming Wednesday.
He won the by-election with 6052 votes, getting about 85% of voters turn-up and majority of 5558 votes over the other 3 independent candidates. BN did not contest in this by-election.
Hope this new appointment would strengthen Pakatan Rakyat in the state government line up and provide a better service to the voters to compliment their continual supports for the past 3 elections.

Reject Chin Peng but Welcome Hu Jin Tao
I agreed with Teng Hock Nam this time. Teng urged government to allow Chin Peng, a 85 years old former communist leader to return home. As concurred by Zaid Ibrahim, most of the people are just sympathise to Chin Peng’s aspiration to return home and die. This does not mean they want to revive communism.
To us and those born in late 60's and early 70's, Chin Peng is just a name appeared in the history book during "Baling Treaty". The second time we heard about his name is during Mahathir's time in signing the 1989 Haadyai Peace Accords. Our understanding, communist since then shall had no more threat to Malaysian.
In fact, we know more about communism from China and North Korea than the local communist. By the way, do we still have any local communist?
We also wonder why in one hand the government reject Chin Peng to come back but in the other hand, our 1Malaysia PM is going to bring a big group of people to shake hand with China communist like Hu Jin tao.
But the funniest part is one of the Gerakan leaders blamed his another leader colleague for urging to allow Chin Peng to come back home. He even threaten that he is going to "lompat parti" to PKR as he could not agreed with what have been done by this leader.
God bless PKR. I hope you all have enough headache with all these "unhappy politicians in their own party" type of members and should stop to accept all these and be more selective.

Will the People's Memory still Short this time?
Nobody surprised with the court's decision, Zamry is the MB. Nobody got angry and nobody protest the court's decisions. Everybody, the layman in Constitutions, expected the results.
But did all People accept the results?
My friend, the Liverpool fan, sent me sms saying this:" The court's explanation is confusing. But I would like to use this analogy to give a better understanding of 3-0 decision. All 3 goals scored by the referee and of course the referees allowed all 3 goals."
The BN MB "grateful" with the results and said that "As I have always said, the truth will come to light and trials will always be overcome."
But did the People "grateful" with the decision?
BN philosophy is very simple. Hold the power tightly, ignore all protests, arrest all problems makers, control all medias, implement some sweets policies for the next few years, the People will forget "what they did last February, 2009".
From the history, BN is the strongest "People has short memory" believer.
And in fact, this is the truth. In most of the cases, BN got through all these successfully for the past 50 years except 308.
So, will this time successful again as planned by BN?

Police Catch People, People Catch Robber
Where were the Police when People need help?
Were they having teh tarik surrounding the Perak Assembly Building, or preparing to arrest People who wear black and carry candles at night?
In Ipoh today, three people, including a maid, a mother and her youngest child, were brutally murdered during a robbery at their house in Taman Pinji Seni here in a daytime.
The suspect was caught immediately by passing-by residents and the owner of the house who just came back home.
We may not need Police to arrest People who carry candles, instead, we need Police to catch those carry "parang".
I think is time for the Police back to their actual duties instead of working for those politician blindly.

Think First Before Frog
The judgement day for the 3 frogs in Perak probably come earlier than expected.
According to the rumours, one of the questions or one way out to solve Perak fiasco being debated and discussed among the top BN officials are to persuade the three Perak defectors to vacate their seats and contest for a by-elections.
Since the 3 frogs "contributed" to the power grab of BN toppling the Perak government 3 months ago, the Perak government immediately got into chaotic situation. Non-stop lawsuits, non-stop protests & non-stop arguments among PR and BN had made the PEOPLE fed up and angry. The tired POLITICIANS too exhausted with all these endless problems and start to find ways out.
One of the brilliant idea from BN is to vacate the seat thinking that they would win 2-1 and could clearly form the state government rather than dissolve the whole assembly.
So now the 3 frogs are on the dissecting tray and be prepared to "sacrifice" this time.
This story also tell the successors or all YBs to think first before frog.

BN Choose to face Judge rather than the People
BN choose to face the JUDGE rather than the PEOPLE.
With super fast and super efficient Court of Appeal, the Court on Tuesday granted a stay of execution on the High Court’s ruling that Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin is the rightful mentri besar of Perak.
This proof that the negative trust of most of the Malaysian about judiciary has its reason.
Pakatan choose to face the People but BN choose otherwise. Instead, they used all sort of tactics and resources to maintain the power they grabbed.
Even some senior UMNO members like Ku Li, their royal coalitions member from Gerakan and MCA start to loose their patient and urged to dissolve the state assembly as they know that the consequences of dragging this issue would be very painful and may lose the opportunities to regain the public trust.
Obviously, Zambry has lost his rational and ignore all other possible solutions to maintain his MBship. In this case, our 1Malaysia PM should step in to make a correct decision at this critical situation instead of distance himself from the issue as reported in the Malaysia Insiders.
Now, Nizar return to his Chair
My friend called me noon time today and asked me what ware the court's decisions about the famous 2 MBs. I wonder why he still interested with the results as I think most of the people has the same thinking with me, definitely Nizar will lose. He said he had the same thinking as well but interested to know what funny reasons again they are going to give.
The other friend sent me sms the news from Star in the afternoon, NIZAR WON THE CASE AND HE IS THE RIGHTFUL MB. My first response, SURPRISED, i think this is also the same thinking with most of the people.
The second response, WERE THERE ANY AGENDAS BEHIND? I think this is still another same thinking with most of the people.
This is unfortunate that the people's perception of judiciary in the country. Thus, i hope i am wrong this time and we have to salute to the judge Abdul Aziz for his great courage and good judgement, pulling out the Federal Constitution from below the carpet.
The judgement pave a good opportunity to resolve the long due Perak crisis. Now, the ball at the Raja Nazrin leg and we hope he made a wise decision.
No changeover of power but return the power of choosing government back to the People of Perak.
If BN claimed that the protest are only from the minority of Perakians, the blogger and the outsiders. Then they should have no afraid for the fresh election as they will get the majority to vote them.
As for BN and PR, both will have to obey the results of People's decision and no further argument should be raised after this.

Adun On Sale
Perak Adun ON SALE. Any parties interested?
My friends did not want to hear her name anymore, so I presume that they also did not want to see her face anymore. Thus, no photos of her are available here.
However, she is capable. She had shown her capablity to turn over a government without any offers (according to her) and today, she showed her capabilities again to take over Speaker position.
She is responsible. According to her, she did not mind to hop like a frog if the hopping could help her's..................voters.
She is not corrupted. she refused to accept offer of RM50 today and destroy RM1 in front the whole Malaysian. (I wonder is it legal to destroy the country money notes?)
She is thick skin. She did not feel shameful even though she had disappointed her voters and still insists want to go back to serve her people. (Somehow, she did not go back since hopping).
She is the most popular politician especially in Chinese community. No campaign cost incur if you want to place her in next General Election.
She is independent. She is independent at the moment but somehow favour to BN. Thus, I presume only BN coalitions may interested.
Of all, I think MCA and Gerakan are the most potential parties that may get interested. Gerakan just managed to get a deputy CM and an Adun from Sabah and may interested also to expand their power to Perak.
MCA might not letting Gerakan to win the race again and want to obstruct Gerakan to extend their power in Perak.

Make A Wishes
I am still on the travelling mode to various cities in the region since last 2 weeks. However, I try to find every opportunities to keep in touch with Malaysians and today want to share with all of you to make the following wishes:
1) Happy Birthday to Altantuya for her 31st birthday, wish her rest in peace.
2) Tomorrow definitely a black day in Perak, but wish that all these black days will eventually lead to a shinning days for all Malaysian. (冬天过去了,春天还会远吗?)

Perak Damage Control Mode Continues
Perak BN is still on damage control mode. They seemed desperate and in rushing mood causing them couldn't do anythings right.
After implementing the access control into the assembly building last week, the Perak Information Department issued a circular to restrict the numbers of media organisation were allowed to present the perak assembly sitting on 7 May 2009. Today, Zambry were forced to reverse the restriction. This is somehow a joke in view of World Free Press Day today.
Perak BN may face a new lawsuit again after they terminate the service of 817 'Ketua Kampung" in Perak. A surprising full attendence of all 817 ketua kampung at Jelapang community hall protest the termination and agreed on 6 points proposals for their next actions to be taken.
The latest development reported that police had snapped photos of 7~8 PR Aduns' residents for the last 2 days. Nizar also confirmed that police had called for a special briefing tomorrow and the PR lawmakers would boycott the briefing.
Imagine how messy would be if PR successful toppled the government at the federal level.
