Car & Cows
I am about to throw all school text books into dust bin that I studied during school. In our understanding, the commission agencies in a country are the INDEPENDENT agencies that set up to carry out tasks that required freedom from external influences especially from ruling political parties or individuals. They only report to the Constitution Monarchy.
Election COMMISSION had made an "extra-ordinary" decision of rejecting by-election as proposed by the Perak State Assembly Speaker request and "extra-caring" to certain party comfort but ignore the voters comfort by setting the 2-Bukit by-election date just before the allowed period. The move "look like and sound like" favour to certain party.
Today, Malaysia Anti-Corruption COMMISSION made a fast & initiative action to find "strong evidence" to show Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim had misused his powers over the purchase of 46 cows (cost RM110,400) and maintenance of his own cars (cost RM7,797).
Of course, if the MB is found guilty, he should be charged, irrelevant he is VVIP or the amounts is small.
However, the question is the COMMISSION "look like and sound like" selectively to investigate and act on the cases they prefer. In Perak, their are ADUNs cum Excos unreasonably missing for few days and hopped party immediately they appeared again, REPORTED BUT NO ACTION. In Kedah, the PR ADUN had reported and trapped in video together with the officers many months ago about the offer to hop party, REPORTED BUT NO ACTION. Besides, there are still lost count of reports lodge unattended.
What to say, even the highest authority in the country is also tilted.
SHAMELESS Again
I had tried myself not to waisting time to talked about these people, but still "beh tahan".
Mah said PR should except the fact that the government had been taken over like what BN did during 308. PR should calm down and waiting for PEOPLE choice by next election.
"Thick face skin" & shameful again.
If BN accepted the fact that their BN government had been taken over by the PEOPLE CHOICE during 308, they will not do the donkey takeover at 204 which bypass the PEOPLE CHOICE.
Mah said again today in Sin Chew daily after he was suspended to attend state assembly for 12 months together with his illegal MBs and other excos:"PR had shown their power crazy only after 11 months of ruling, what would happen if they are allowed to rule for another 15 years."
"Thick face skin" & shameful again.
BN or MCA had been in the ruling government for last 50 years or 11 terms and they were defeated in 308 in Perak. They can't even wait for another 4~5 years for next election, but utilised all dirty tactics to rob over the power. "Who is more power crazy?"
The more "thick skin" is that immediately the only Chinese exco and the other Chinese "exco palsu" was appointed, they start fighting themselves to claim that they are the one who represent the Chinese community.
The two really shameless losers please read the recent poll showing that 90% of respondents have voted overwhelmingly for the abolition of race-based political parties in the country. They believe that the abolition would result in greater social harmony and understanding among the various communities.
If both of you really care about the Chinese community, don't you think that the previous 6 Chinese excos are a better representation of the community? By the way, that is not our intention as the new Malaysian is building up and race-based parties are soon will be demolished.

Please Respect Privacy
I got to know more about Elizabeth Wong recently when I linked her blog and read from a few websites. I should said that she is one of the quality and qualify people's representative. She is consistence and enthusiasm.
Unfortunately she was "attacked", her private photos were taken without her knowledge were circulated.
Eli did not hide herself, instead she stand forward, made the police report, bravely face with public and offer to resign due to responsibility. She gained respect and support from most of the people, all levels, multi races, and most but not all from BN. She showed a good example against violent to women.
Many people are shocked of what has happened to her and immediate perception is, politics again, and this time, a low class politic tactic.
We should not blame why people having this perception by just looking the immediate reaction from the most desperado person in Selangor, toyol. He linked her with Chua Soi Lek and request her to resign due to "immoral". read more from KKP and Romerz.
He is the most "immoral" by saying this.
PM-in waiting denied the accusation of BN is behind smearing Elizabeth. I hope they don't.
But he still could not blame people having this perception, by looking at Altan missing, Bala missing, Osman & Jamal mising, Hee missing and now, Eli ex-boy friend also missing since Jan, 09.

Patik Pohon Derhaka or Saya Minta Undi?
Khir Toyo, firstly, we sincerely welcome you to visit Penang. Besides plan for protest march, take some time to enjoy the harmony atmosphere in Penang under PR government that you could not produce last time in Selangor.
After KJ did his propaganda for the UMNO Youth Presidential Post contest using the Perak Ruler issue in Ipoh, another contestant, Khir Toyo counter back with protest march against Karpal Singh in Penang. Obviously, their intention is cleared. Their target is more for their political future than anything else.
Oooop....almost forget. Where is another contestant, Mukhriz? I think it is his turn to perform now before left behind. Oh......, unfortunately, he could not do that as his father was also suspected 'derhaka' to the rulers during his days.......
By-election on April 7
EC could not disagree if the public having perception that they listen to the ruling federal government.
Firstly, their unconstitutional rejection of resignation of 2 assemblymen as submitted by Perak Speaker, resulting the grab of power by BN coalition.
And now, EC announced the by-election nomination date on 29 March and poling date on 7th April, 57th day after the seats are vacant.
The nomination is1 day after the UMNO assembly from 24~28th of March, at that time, UMNO election is settle, less infighting within UMNO and they could unite to face the election.
The poling day is 1 week after Najib take over power as 6th PM of Malaysia, hoping the wave of new PM could assist BN in the by-elections.
The poling date is on tuesday, a working day. EC said if the voters are keen to vote, they shall take leave from working. How can they take care of UMNO election but ignore the most important voters' rights.
But that is Malaysia politics, until we make the change.

Daulat Tuanku
This group of people really a jokers. Last year in Trengganu, they "natang tuanku" in the appointment of MB and this year in Perak they "daulat tuanku" as the Sultan paved the way for BN to topple PR government. A rally attended by about 1,000 UMNO youth members and some other NGOs at the Ipoh City Hall field to declare their support to Rulers.
Are they really "Daulat Tuanku" ? or "Daulat UMNO"? Probably they only daulat to project or contract.
Another lesson from Perak fiasco is the Constitutional Monarchy. We used to study about "Raja Berperlembagaan" in our political system during school time. Thinking of that, we were not very sure who is at higher rank at that time, the "Raja" or the "Perlembagaan"? Perak crisis is a good practical experiment of "Raja Perlembagaan". Unfortunately, the answer is still not cleared until today. Maybe this article from Art Harun, The Perak Crisis, an unsolicited legal opinion may help, or we may need to wait for the court to decide.
An interesting tales from UMNO Youth rally at Perak MB Residence - do they have the !!!people power!!
Tales of rallies in Ipoh,
Rakyat’s support for Nizar & PR state government
20,000 to 50,000 (depends on who you ask)
VS
UMNO Youth (with supporters from Selangor, Penang, Negri Sembilan & Kedah)
500 to 1,000 (even if you ask UMNO themselves)

2 by-elections in 1 day
Today is another record for politics in Malaysia. 2 by-elections were generated within the next 60 days.
YB Roslan Shaharum, the PAS MP for Bukit Gantang, Perak died of heart attack this morning (condolences). In another PR state, Kedah, PKR MP V. Arumugam resigned as ADUN for BukitSelambau following the linking to him a "marriage scandal". He was said that under a lot of pressure to defect and threaten to him and his family.
(Bukit Gantang Parlimentary seat, consists of 3 DUN seat, namely Kuala Sepetang (PKR), TrongUMNO) & Changkat Jering (Mohd Osman, PKR hopped to Independent-favour BN last week). Roslan had polled 20,015 votes, won UMNO candidate 18,449 votes and Independent who had polled 872 votes. Majority 1,566. Bukit Gantang is a Malay majority (63%), Chinese (27%) and Indian (10%), a reflection of Malaysia population ratio.
as Bukit Selambau, total voters 34,997. Malay (50%), Chinese (20%) and Indian (30%). ArumugamIndependent won 2415 votes majority last March.
Life is really beyond all human expectation. We hokkien lang always said:"People are doing, Sky is looking" (人在做,天在看). While Perak fiasco still on fire and unsolved, an unexpected by-election was generated directly at the war field.
Who do not want the by-election? The answer is obviously our PM-to be. When he is ready to carry the victory in Perak into UMN assembly to be held next month, an unexpected by-election force to get into the battle field again. "Najib thought lost to Sky thought" (纳吉算不如天算).
PR may lose one Parliamentary seat but this by-election may be their opportunity to show their supports to HRH and BN that they are more popular in the state.
Someone proposed Nizar vs Zamry, sound interesting.

Hopping (II)
A few MCA friends sent me similar sms explaining why the hopping is acceptable. They claimed something that a 50-50 Perak government is unstable & a lot of conflicts, and DSAI is the one who started the frog leaping and not them. And now, a 28-28-3 government even unstable.
Firstly, MCA members are united this time and consistently given the same explanations through sms and the media, except Chua Soi Lek, who not so agreed with hopping to form government. Probably he did not receive the sms from the President.
Secondly, MCA blamed DSAI should not takeover government by MP hopping but now they accept it when things favour to them, claiming DSAI is the one who going to do this. In this case, if DSAI said he is going to eat shit, will MCA/UMNO to follow? I think the Chinese literature experts President should know how Chinese said "Things that you do not want others to do on you, Do not do it on others." (己所不欲,勿施于人)
Thirdly, DSAI is not the one who started it. We should look further back the "Ming Court Affairs" in 1987 and how our ex-PM overthrow PBS government in 1994. DSAI should be blamed by bringing over this tactic when he left UMNO.
In this case, I think some Gerakan leaders like thier Youth Chief Lim Si Pin's stands against defection should be encouraged.
I should admit that even I have a little bit doubt to myself about DSAI approach to get MP hopping to takeover federal government last year, but at that time, I strongly hoped that 916 could happen.
At that time, we hope that we should take this opportunity to replace the government and restructure the whole poilitical arena. After this time, I think I shoud in general agree with DAP stands about the basis of anti-hopping law, someone could hop but he/she has to resign and stand for the by-election.
Hopping (I)
Hopping is the main lesson that we learnt from the current Perak fiasco. All of us may need to take a deep thought about this standing after this fiasco.
Before this, we may look at the reasons given from our "hopping lecturers" why they hopped:
a) Jamaluddin & Mohd Osman giving reason that is the party that did not want them and they are force to react. But the fact is how could an important state leaders "missing" for so many days uncontacted even from his office and his family. Even an employee could be terminated if not report to work for few days without informing the employer.
b) Hee Yit Fong mentioned in today paper that DAP had tried to squeeze her out of the party. She had no choice but to leave the party and stay independent. In fact, the people may understand and accept her if she decide to leave and stay independent due to party infighting, But the fact is that her decision to support the opposition BN, which has totally opposite political approach, and more importantly, the decision turnover the government. This gave perception of betrayal even you have thousand reasons. From the explinations during the recent interview, looked like she still does not understand why people blamed her. Too much hatred in the heart against the infighting and making her blind. What a pityful lady.
c) Nasaruddin Hashim double hopped in 10 days to PKR and back to UMNO giving reasons to have a more stable government and after advised by his political counterparts. I have nothing to say but only pity to the people in Bota having such a joker in their constituency.
Happy Thaipusam

Get People Get The World, Get Katak...?
Unfortunately, HRH decisions opened an opportunities for the 'katak' hopping everywhere they like. Even though HRH had made his best decision in His capacity. However, we should agree that Constitution is the highest law of the land and everyone should respect it.
In the ancient Chinese words:"Get People Heart Get The World." (得人心者得天下). And now BN "Get Katak to Get The World" but lost People Heart.
The consequences are very clear now:"Lost People Heart Lost the World."(失人心者失天下)。
Katak may be powerful but when time comes, even the flies could hold up the frog.

SHAMELESS
This is the most shameless statement of the day.
According to Malaysiakini Live Report at 7.10pm today:
"7.10pm: Chenderiang assemblyman Dr Mah Hang Soon, who is the sole MCA state rep in Perak, told Malaysiakini that he is likely to be one of the executive councillors in the new state cabinet line-up.
The MCA Youth deputy chief said that according to BN tradition, MCA will have one post in the state cabinet. However, he said he has yet been informed which portfolio he would be given. Mah added that the new government will be sworn in tomorrow at 3.30pm."
Mah, the rising star of MCA youth, proudly and happily issued this statement just before the BN to sworn in tomorrow. The immediate picture came into my mind is:
1) A BEGGAR (someone who never work but asking for something from others),
2) A SHAMELESS BEGGAR (Forgetting MCA is the one who mainly caused the BN defeat in 308, they only won one seat and lost all others)
3) TAKE-FOR-GRANTED SHAMELESS BEGGAR (No hard work or contribution in the achievement, but shamelessly take-for-granted said that the post is belong to them. This is no different with those shameless umnoputras who ask benefits blankly from the government)
Oh...Sorry, I should not use beggar as example, beggars are sometimes more respectable.
Besides UMNO, I think MCA is also reached its time..............
"Change Sky" in Perak
Finally, we experienced the first "change sky", but it was carried out by BN.
Firstly, we should congratulate the 3 independent ADUN, Jamaluddin, Mohd Osman & Hee YitFong for their fast recovering from heavily sick last few days. They fell sick seriously till unable to listen to phone calls and reading papers.
But, today, they looked fresh, healthy and energetic. Hmmmm...., the medicine must be very effective and expensive.
Today is a happy day for our PM-to be, after a long sad days since Mongolian case, PP & KT by-elections. He thought he won a battle and shall win respect from many peoples. Unfortunately, the responds are not so encouraging:
a) No amusement from most of the Malaysian. The immediate sms survey by ntv7 showed that 96% felt that the crisis would affect BN performance negatively in next GE. Here
b) Even his strong supporter, the ex-PM blasts the taking over this way. Here
c) He again shown that he is not going to be the PM for all, the move at least disappointed 50% of Malaysian and shall be more.
d) The existing government is not taken over due to their incapability or corruption. Instead, they have implemented policies that benefited the People so far. Thus, the taking over does not make people excited.
God bless our PM-to be.
