Status Miskin Tegar Sifar
Today, The Penang Government announced that they have achieved the target of zero abject poverty when 728 hardcore poor families in the state received an income of at least RM500 per month.
I attended this short and meaningful ceremony on behalf of my company and the above are some of the photos taken.

Bodoh punya Cina, but we have spritually victory
RPK probably surprised that why orang Cina did not get angry when he said Bodoh Punya Cina, like what he had suffered by saying this to other races.
RPK also wondered why the "certain" orang Cina felt so relief and happy when Krismuddin only drew the keris and kissed it, but did not wave and shout like previously.
Everyone knew that both Youth were just "looking for steps to go down the staircase" (下台阶)and close the subject. In fact, no body care about this time.
But it reminded me that probably RPK still did not know Ah Q and we should introduce him this well-known person in the Chinese community.
RPK should first read The True Story of Ah Q (阿Q正传)written by one of the very famous writer called Lu Xun in 1921.
The characteristic of Ah Q is complicated, but the core character is "Method of Spiritually Victory". In this method, Ah Q always believed that he is the victor even though he lost in all fights.
The basic characteristics of Ah Q could be summarised as below:
1) Inferiority and self-based arrogant
He looked down everyone and always felt that he is higher class than others. He could even proud of his "head scar skin disease", which others could not have it.
2) Self-deception
Whenever he was bullied by the stronger and forced to bow to them, he would still feel a victory as he is the No. 1 most humble person.
3)Fear of evil but bully the weak
He always measures his position before fighting. He will bow to the stronger but take no hesitation to bully the weaker. By then, he would feel victory again by successfully bully the weaker, even though he was just bullied by the stronger.
4)A Speculator
He used to oppose with all kinds of revolution to change and said this is a betrayal until this revolution is so popular and force him to follow, but then he still consider which will benefit him more.
This is just to introduce a novel and explain one of our characteristics to those who do not know us in detail. No intention to insinuate anything or anyone. We should not responsible if someone match himself with Ah Q.

Najib's 1st Headache
Congratulation to Khairy and Sharizat for winning the UMNO Youth and Wanita UMNO chief post in the recent UMNO election. We are not sure whether to congratulate Najib as he never revealed who he prefer to win the election.
The winning of KJ & Sharizat indicate that Pak Lah still influential? On the other hand, the losing of Mukhriz showed that the ex-PM is not as popular as he thought?
But we pretty sure that Najib start to get 1st headache in lining up his new cabinet.
Should he appoint Sharizat to remain as advisory post or appoint her as Minister via Senator appointment?
And the more "headache" is should he appoint KJ as Minister since our ex-PM had ask him not to do so even KJ is elected?
Hopefully less headache for him in MT election tomorrow.

I am now persona non grata and living in exile
Probably we all should spend sometimes to read about this story about RPK.
Someone who is dedicated, principle, courage and always stand at the side of truths.
Someone we should salute and say thank you on behalf of our next generation.
It is sad and touch.

I Can Speak English
I CAN SPEAK ENGLISH.
This is a loud announcement from one the the upcoming black horse in coming UMNO Deputy President post contest.
This is another joke of the day. If you ever watched "审死官”starred by 周星驰, you will share the same laughter with me.
In the movie, the Judge (& his wife) had corrupted to cover a murder case from another higher rank judge' sister. In the government culture, the Judge would always protect another judge (or government servants) if there is any scandal. The Zhou, act as a lawyer had no choice but to use a tricks/traps making the Judge accidentally admitted that he actually took the money in the court in front of the public.
(In fact, Nizar lawyers may watch this movie and learn some tricks before they go to the court next few days)
And now, our ex-PM, TDM had put a trap by saying that Taib did not speak English. This the only Malay that obtained 1st Class Honours Degree in HISTORY forget about the statement he had made in the history.
In the case past few years that he brought undeclared cash worth RM2.4million to Australia and was arrested. He was acquitted because he claimed he couldn't speak or understand English and didn't know he had to declare the cash.
He said "I CAN SPEAK ENGLISH" now.
So, now Can He Actually Speak English?
If yes, he is for sure capable to be the DPM later in term of speaking English criteria.
But, if yes, could the Brisbane Magistrate Court re-arrest him for telling lies in the court?

Pity to new PM
A little bit "pity" to our PM-to-be recently. He is going to be promoted the highest post in Malaysia but seems like more criticise, doubtful & uncertainties than welcoming on the ground.
Pity No. 1 - Recently, He works so hard as PM, DPM, Finance Minister, party chairman, even as Perak MB but only get DPM & Finance Minister salary.
Pity No. 2 - His boss, the current PM promised to promote him as new PM very "soon", but deny to give the exact date. This made him very worry as even a cleaner in the government office will be informed exactly when they will be transferred at least 1 month ago. But, the highest post in the government is not.
Pity No. 3 - His ex-boss, the other old man, TDM did not seems support him fully. He commented that he still did not shine and advise him to set up a CLEAN cabinet. This gave NR a difficulties of how to choose those CLEAN or even LOOK CLEAN leaders from the current team. And for sure, our old man will not stop "memberi teguran" to new government.
Pity No. 3 - His party veteran member, Ku Li advised the rejected candidate, Ali Rustam to appeal to Registrar or Societies to retain his right fort the contest or even barred the party contest.
Pity No. 4 - His ex-colleague, Datuk Zaid appealed to DYMM not to appoint NR to be the next PM due to so many un-answered doubts.
Pity No. 5 - The veteran opposition leader, Lim Kit Siang certainly did not give him having a good sleep. He asked today that the Parliament should be extended for another week to debate on the motion of confidence for the new PM.
Pity No. 6 - The Public. This is the most important criteria to be the new PM for all Malaysian. Despite of his valuable 40 years experience in the government service, majority of the public did not show their welcome sentimental for this new PM as compared with previous ones. Probably he is too long in the top ranks in the cabinet making most of the people feel no excitements and hopes that he could bring anything new for us to move forward. Instead, he carried too much bad burdens with him to this highest post.
Pity No. 6 - Even the one who could not die in peace causing some nightmares sometimes.
Certainly, If he successfully get through these pityness, he will definitely passing these pities to others...

Crabs vs Crabs
The referee whistle. Ali Rustam out. Khiary maintains innocence, Khir Toyo relieved.
My friend, an EPL and Liverpool fan sms me:"This referee sometimes give red card and expel player but other time give red card and allow the player to continue playing."
The other said:"Ya. This is ways of Malaysia Politics."
In Malaysia, what ever committees or judiciary boards, it is the Malaysian perception that whether you are guilty all depends on which camp you are in.
If you are opposition, you will be always guilty.
If you are in different and a weaker camp in the party, you will be also always guilty.
This certainly not a law but normally they called it coincident.
Whatever it is, this is just a party consists a basket of crabs that fighting themselves. But we just wonder, could the rejected candidate due to money politics in the party qualified to work as MB/MP for all people?

Gobind in Suspension for 1 Year
My friend said he felt the sky is dark today upon the news of Gobind suspension today. He was not allowed to defence even we have so many opposition MPs in the House. They did not respect the House.
Yup, the sky is always dark recently and will be darker.
the Malaysian Insiders reported that BN leaders in supporting of Gobind's suspension. Certainly, they will support, they have to support, what choice they have? They are the gang in the third world Parliament, following the third rate speaker.
Gobind's allegation may be serious, but what about the publication in the Liberation French newspaper that Gobind based on. Did our Malaysia "want face" country do anything against them. We should sue them until they take off their pants.
Remember about Lee Kuan Yew, ever Malaya’s biggest fan, described Johor as “notorious for shootings, muggings and carjackings,” as readable in Asiaweek. He got blasted for that statement of course, and quickly apologized.
So, the bolehland leaders, please do it also to Liberation French newspaper.

Malaysia Boleh in Swiss Open
There are also some proud things that we could show to the world, besides the shameful grab of power.
In Swiss Open Final, our Penangite, Lee CW finally beat his strongest champion-barrier opponent, Lin Dan from China. Tonight, he won over Lin Dan with straight set 21-16, 21-16. Lee CW had improved tremendously and play a very good game tonight. This should also thank to his dedicated coach Misbun Sidek.
Our No. 1 double pair, after a downturn for few months, defended their Swiss Open title tonight too. They beat Denmark pair Boe & Mathias with 21-14, 21-18.
This is a real "Malaysia Boleh" spirit we should show to the world. When we lose, accept it and learnt the weaknesses, improve it and we will win back eventually.
The Death of Democracy
On 3 march, 2009. Ipoh, small tiny dot on the earth was getting "the World is watching" as today in the history of Malaysia, an "emergency sitting" of Perak State Assembly was held under a rain tree opposite the state assembly buildings.
The rain tree, also known as Yellow Flame, witnessed the process of emergency sittings attended by 28 ADUNs and a big crowd of People.
To memorise this meaningful day. On 8 March, 2009, a plague was erected to record this historical event and in the same time, 5 other plants, representing Transparency, Justice, Integrity, Trustworthiness and Welfare were also planted.
On 10~12, March, 2009. The area soon became the hottest spot for the visitors to visit this historical spot, to learn about democracy and to breath the air of democracy.
On 13 March, 2009. A broken day of democracy. The plague was seriously attacked by unknown uncivilised barbarian and "broken hand broken leg". The democracy is "broken".
On 14 March, 2009. While BN announced their candidates for 3 by-elections, the democracy plague once again tortured with black liquid. The democracy was almost dead.
On 15 March, 2009. A group of hardworking Ipoh City Council workers came in at about 7.30am with a lorry and tractor, completely "clean away" the almost dead monument of democracy. The democracy was officially dead.
The democracy plague. Born 8th March, 2009 and died 15th March, 2009.
May all Malaysia, who love the country, follow Constitution, respect human rights, condolence to the death of democracy.
The plague may be dead but the spirit of democracy is planted. And this time, it is planted even deeper in the heart of all Malaysia.
Of course, except all those uncivilised barbarians.
Unlawful Grap Power
We may not agreed what he said and what he did sometimes but we could not denied that our ex-PM Dr M has a smarter brain even at this age as compared with many politicians in the country.
Earlier, he commented our PM-to-go for advising the Sultan-elected MB to lodge the report to police after the ADUN special committee barred them from attending the assembly.
Today, he finally said that the grab power in Perak is unlawful and it was a mistakes, bad strategy and carelessness.
Certainly, the topple of government is not encouraged and morally wrong but it is not against the law or Constitution if it is done properly.
Obviously, the grab power in Perak is unlawful. If not, BN would not remain silent what PR had done so far.
Unfortunately, BN had entered a no U-turn and this had made other agencies like HRH, PDRM, MACC, judiciary agencies, EC, etc be cought into very difficult position and the most unfortunate is the PEOPLE OF PERAK.

Crabs Infighting
It is a bit late but the battle begins now above the table. All crabs are ready to infighting. Other creatures could take a rest and should be safe from being attacked by all those crabs for the next 2 weeks as they will be busy to fight themselves to gain power to fight others in the future. We could not do anything. So be relax, choose a seat, buy some snacks and watch the show. Be enjoyed.

Stimulus Package
Finally, similar to other countries, we have also our own mini budget now, or known as 2nd economic stimulus package. Surprisingly, the amount of 60billion is unprecedentedly huge. This may give an immediate excited feeling to most of the people.
No wonder our new Finance Minister brought the whole family to share with him during the announcement. Probably in heart he expected some big hand for him in front of his family members, after a recent disappointments and unhappy on so many other issues.
I am not an economist. As usual, like annual budget announcement every year, I do not really understand all the economic terms and policies in the papers. Thus, I could only depend on the elaborations from all other experts and newspaper.
The immediate effect could be monitored from the share market index. The index down 2.97 points on 10/3, further down 4.88pts the following day and another 11.98pts dropped today.
Normally, there will be a lot of supporting voices followed the announcement. However this time, even Dr Koh, the most royalty supporter to BN also felt that the successful of the package very much depend on the implementation.
The main highlights in the paper is the RM5000 incentive to replace old car with new national car. The cheapest national car is about RM28,000. So, the poor man with 10 years old car is encouraged to sell his old car, take a RM23,000 bank loan (if he is still entitled) and to get a new car. Ok, this means stimulus.
As a lay man live on the ground, I think the stimulus package will be more effective and meaningful if there is a direct assistance to those unemployed, a direct tax cut or incentives to those still struggling in works or business, a direct investment or more efficient projects into the market like infrastructure projects, a fairer business environment to local and foreign investors.
However, we still welcome the huge stimulus package and really hope that it works as we really do not have strong fundamentals to fight with still uncertain economic downturns.

革命尚未成功,同志尚需努力。
Think positively, we should congratulate to Pakatan Rakyat for still retain 4-1/2 state government after 1 years of victory over the 50 years "hegemony" (Kit Siang favorite word) ruling party, BN. Despite of numerous under table dirty tactics hidden behind and utilise all money and power, PR only lost "half" in Perak State and the battle still goes on.
I will be flying away oversea for next 4 days and will miss the celebration of the 1 year anniversary victory of the RAKYAT. Probably we should take this meaningful day to rethink and review of what we should do further to create a better tomorrow for our nation.
I will do a review when I come back next week.
And to all ANAK MALAYSIAN,
革命尚未成功,同志尚需努力。
The SOUL could not rest in peace
The soul of Altantuya seems could not rest in peace and today appeared in Liberation French newspaper.
