When MM Lee Meets (unofficial) First Lady

I was just touched down from a 3-days trip in a small city in Philippines.
There are a few famous ladies appeared in recent political history of Philippines. Among them, you may have forgotten Corazon Aquino, the first President of Philippines and also in Asia, after overturned the dictator Ferdinand Marcos. You may also forgotten the name of current President, Arroyo.
However, you would not forget this most influential lady among them, Imelda Marcos, the First Lady of 10th President of Philippines, Ferdinand Marco, who ruled Philippines for 20 years from 1986 to 1986, until he was overturned by People Power Revolution in 1986 due to his dictatorship causing Philippines a huge national debt, corruption problem and people poverty.
The First Lady, Imelda Marcos, who famous with her shoe collection, also well known with her extravagant lifestyle in speding public money to support her lifestyle. She also involved in a lot of mega but meaningless projects. she had also played an influential part in his husband's political career.
During my visit to Philippines, one of the world's most respectable politician, MM Lee Kuan Yew visited Malaysia with his young ministers to interact with Malaysia's politicians and his old friends.
Surprisingly, instead of paying visit to one of his "old" friend, Tun Dr M, MM Lee had a special tea session with Rosmah, who has no official government positions.
MM Lee said he called on Rosmah because he had been told that she and her husband worked as a team and it was necessary for him to understand both members of the team.

When did she stand for election to be 1st lady? For that matter, when did Najib stand and received the mandate to be PM?
