How many teeth equal to one Bungalow?
Najib denies Khir Toyo charge is for show.
Of course he has to deny but in actual fact, is this for show? Of corse this is a show.
He had learnt from Pak Lah for not "doing show" to investigate the late Zakaria bungalow before 308 and this might be one of the reason BN lost Selangor.
Now, they got another big bungalow again in Selangor, of course, BN has to show people this time that they are different under the caring government. They can not make the same mistake for 2nd time.
Pity to Toyo, it was a waste to plug so many teeth for the last so many years to buy this bungalow and now they said you are suspect for the land fraud.
Furthermore, you are not the only one to own such a big bungalow, and only 1 unit of bungalow, as compared with those who owned a lot of bungalows overseas.

Galas & Batu Sapi
Pakatan lost again in these latest by-election in Galas & Batu Sapi.
Of course there are many reasons why PR lost and BN won. Analysts will made all analysis from now but the fact is Pakatan Rakyat that give a lot hopes and confident especially in city areas did not achieved the same in the rural areas.
Pakatan must realized that the wind of change in 308 did not brought to whole nation. There are certainly a big group of people especially those in cities believe and hope for 2-party system, but there are a bigger group of people that might choose to stay with BN that had 'taken care' of them in the past 50 years.
Obviously, Pakatan has to work harder and smarter to gain the supports from these "uncertainty" groups. They have to show their capability, commitment, caring, etc.

Lim Guan Eng or Teng Hock Nam?
What is this about? Still talked about Islamic State and Hudud Law? (Penang Gerakan Chief asked his members to made a choice between 1 Malaysia and Islamic State during the recent party assembly)
I thought this tactic had been used in 1999 and made Gerakan won big in that election.
I thought this tactic had been useless in 2008 and made Gerakan lost big in that election.
The Gerakan leaders really did not know or did not want to know why they lost big in the last election. Penang people had made the choice. They had chosen the DAP CAT, but they also hope that the Gerakan could do a good CAT WATCH, and if the cat is not good, then we could replace the cat in the next election.
Gerakan seemed like can not grow (my friend said this when he forward me this photo). They really need to "Gerakanlah Gerakan".
When Dr Teng asked:"1 Malaysia or Islamic State?".
Penang kia will be more interested to ask:" Lim Guan Eng or Teng Hock Nam?"

ETP, are we WORKING on it or TALKING only
Idris Jala had done a good job, at lease he had outlined what Malaysia should do from Government Transform to Economic Transform in such as short period.
But could Najib be the successful transformer?
1.4 trillion is attractive, but why the response even those corporate CEOs who should benefit the most seemed like not getting excited?
Double our income is excited. But why even the main stream media is not making as hot as murder case in Banting?
If Najib is serious about the program and believe that this could help him and the BN parties in the next election, why there are no UMNO ministers that hold important post showed their supports for the programs, but only those insignificant followers like KTK, the forever follower, followed him right and left.
These are the dilemma of Najib governments, instead of people work together to help the country to achieve this transform, but people just keep on throwing questions:
- Can we double our income by 2020?
- Where the money come from?
- Why the UMNO ministers are not there, even his deputy is current looking up and down to seek for his power to take action against the principals.
- Can we achieve growing without transform?
- Is the government consistence of what they want to do?
- Is Perkasa and Mahathir support this transform?
- so on and so on
But nobody is working on it., too sad.

Salam Aidilfitri
Salam Aidilfitri to all my Muslim friends who celebrate Hari Raya.
"Maaf Zahir dan Batin" is a good concept in this day.
Forgive is a key word to make people come closer and be more understanding each other.
We might act something not so accurate with someone practice but do believe us, we have no bad intention but just try to get closer. I believe all religions teach us this, do forgive those who have no bad intention. And tell us so that we do not do this again next time.
Thus, thanks to YB Teo who try to break the ice and more thankful to those who protect her presence as not against the rules even though certain party try to make this an issue to incite mis-understandings among the people.
Because of this sentiment of forgiving, the People will eventually come closer.
Salam Aidilfitri again to all.

Penang's For Beng Hock
I attended the Malaysian's For Beng Hock Forum held in Penang this afternoon.
Thanks to the group of people that do not want the PEOPLE to forget this time. The tragedy had been 1 year and also the inquest had been drag for so long, but nothing concluded. In fact, the longer it drag, the more disappointment from the People.
And at end the of the day, the real reason of death might not mean anything to the People as the People would have made their own conclusion.
However, the People should not forget. Teoh Beng Hock is not like A Beng or A Hock like you and me. He is someone that work for the state government, an aid for the Exco member of the government. If this can happen to him and no justice is done, what will happen in the future to you and me, and our children.
The JUSTICE must be straighten.

We know WHAT you want
About YB Teo issue, if what Nik Aziz, Mohd Asri Zainal and JAIS says are true, then why some UMNO leaders and some UMNO supporters are so sensitive and "looked" so angry and try to blow the issue so big.
The reason is only one: UMNO is PANIC.
In cities, People has lost trust with this ruling government.
And now, they are slowly losing their strong based rural areas to PR, particularly PAS. The kampung people seems do not fully believed of what the leader said like old days. They might not left UMNO at this moment but they start to have doubts whether UMNO is the only party which they can depend on.
And with the new political approach from PR, the community between different races are mixed around more frequently and more understanding of each others are cultivated.
This is serious, of course to BN. They do not want to see this happen. This is a disaster to them. They could not do divide and rule anymore like before. They could not imagine what would happen to them if they are replaced one day. They can not accept that.
So and then, they have to do something and this is one of what happened recently.
Fortunately, the whole Malaysian are "so cool". They did not make any noise or dance with all sorts of incites. They keep their faily life as usual. Only those "kucing-kurap" make hell of noise, hoping that the people can dance with them.
But we are not, we know what you want to do.
If the PM have "zero tolerance" of racist statement, WE ARE LESS THAN ZERO.

Breakfast without Jamal
To a lot of Malaysian, the 988 morning program, "Hello Malaysia" (早点说马)is part of their breakfast. The program, especially the Chinese speaking Malay DJ, Jamal is very popular among the Chinese community.
And today, Jamal was dropped with the reason that the his comments had influenced the security of the country. Furthermore, his comments on race relations also made other race feel unacceptable.
The latest news reported that 2 top management staffs and Jamal partners in the program, the 3 DJs had been also forced to take leave until investigation completed.
We might not fully agreed or believe all says by all these DJs, but they willing to provide a room for discussion, for debate and a room where the whole Malaysian are free to talk their views.
Nowadays, People want to talk, sometimes the Leaders need to listen. Are we going back to earlier days that only 1 person think that he is the most capable and will do all the talking and others just listen and follow.
Good luck to the parties leaders that still think like that old man. You may removed the person from your control media but you can not removed all other platforms like in Internet world.
Anyway, we will have a kopi "o" breakfast from tomorrow without 988 until the dark sky become clear.
Work harder, fellow Malaysian.

Multi-racial Parties are on the RIGHT track
I went to one of the ceramah organised by PR in Penang last week. DSAI and Zaib Ibrahim are among the speakers.
I had a bit suspicious when Anwar formed a multi-racial political party, PKR 12 years ago and speak for all races. You might say this is the political tactic, but you should not denied that he made a biggest gamble in his political life.
12 years ago, can the multi-racial party survive? was this the right time? I doubt so at that time, I was happy this happened, finally some influential Malays like Anwar deviated from the conventional racist political route and did something that we are looking for as Malaysian.
And now, I think he was making the right choice. He made the right decision at the right time. The political phenomena changed after 308, the concept of multi-racial politics become so popular among the new Malaysian.
It is so easy and so relax when give speech for all races at the stage, not like the BN component parties like UMNO, MCA and MIC. Whatever they fight for their race will hurt another race.
The journey of multi-racial parties might be long, but they are on the right track.

When UMNO Ummmmmm...........
MCA 'accidentally' concurred with DAP called for the ban on the use of "Allah" in Christian publications to be rescinded.
However, when the UMNO leader Ummmm.......... Ummmm.........., MCA as usual quickly made his U-turn again. The President said they are "merely voicing concern" and not sharing the same stand with DAP.
Why I said this to the President? I watched one of the interview with President Chua (that time was just candidate Chua) before the MCA election, the candidate Chua said that we were wrong thinking that his opponent OTK as a person of "dare to say" as OTK only dare to say in Chinese paper but not to UMNO, but he is the one who dare to say to UMNO.
But what happen in this case? "Ma Si Kang Kuang" (also the same).
Even the husband and wife could have individual preference sometimes like come to food, they can choose food they like. But MCA, as "penumpang" in the plane, you can either choose fish or chicken, not the meat, not even to choose not eating.

When people steal iPhone, we steal SAND
The country FDI plunge 81% last year.
If this happened in any corporation, the CEO might need to say bye-bye and step down.
But this is of course do not happen in Malaysia. It is no problem if they do not want to step down, but please do not talk rubbish such as the country is uninterested in attracting investments in the low-end sectors that are flooding other regional economies.
As long as they could help the economy, there is no issue either they are low-end or high-end. And frankly said, Malaysia is actually not that "high-end" as the leaders always think of. The country is too dependent on the natural resources especially the petroleum, and this soon might be exhausted. But where are our other competitiveness?
When other people steal iPhone design, we are still steal sand to sell. What hope do we have?
What make us worried is when this current arrogant government had to launch subsidy-cut. This made us think that the country really in the dilemma.
So, stop talking nonsense and wake up the mind, to bring back the confident at all levels before we go worse.

We were Surprised, too
We were also surprised too why the Ling's family and MCA President caught surprised when the Police arrested Tun Ling Liong Sik. They should know that the current government had to do something on PKFZ, they could not just stop at the small fish. People would not satisfied at this level and PKFZ is an key issue to determine can UMNO take back Selangor. Of course, how serious the "catch" will end is still too early to say. They are so fortunate to find this old man, who has no more supports and irrelevant.
We were also surprised that the charge said that Ling had mislead the cabinet making the decision and caused serious loss of the country wealth. We thought that the cabinet consist of the best brain in the country. They had ruled for so many years, full of experiences, etc including our 3 Prime Ministers of our country. BUT NO ONE NOTICED THAT.
Whatever it is do not make us surprise again like what the ex-PM was doing, pretend to catch some middle size fishes to win the election, and then the fishes were released no guilty.

Lingam, the thing of PAST?
Chief Justice said VK Lingam scandal was a thing of the past that need not be dwelled upon by the current judiciary.
This is the common attitude of our leaders and top people.
They made mistake, they denied mistake, they push the responsibility, they pretend investigation, and they intentionally forget and hope others forget too.
Hoping that time is the best medicine for things could not be settled.
But should we forget and tolerate like past 50 years?
And what about Altantunya, Teoh Beng Hock, Kugan, Sodomy I & II, and many many more?
Should we again forget and forgive without any answer?

STUPID! This is not PRICE INCREASE
STUPID! This is not price increase, this is about subsidy cut. This is something like we paid for you so far and now only reduce the amount to pay for you.
STUPID! if we do not cut the subsidy, how do we pay for all our problem GLC companies, our heavy weight ministries & government agencies, our crocodile corrupted cronies, our expensive consultants, our friends, our family......Thinking of that, i think we should do the 2nd round of subsidy cut soonest possible.
STUPID! You all think I like to cut the subsidy, but I really have no other ideas to help the country economics to pay for huge expenses and the corruptions.
STUPID! See, the Rakyat has no complaints so far after announcement of price increase. They are all so silly and convinced after 1 full page of explanation in newspaper and just a EMPTY promises not to increase kopi price made by the kopitiam operators.
STUPID! You thought we are so stupid, the Rakyat keep quite as they have given up this goverment and wait for the time to come to overturn this STUPID government.

What Octopus Paul will pick?
World Cup fever is over.
It is good to take a break away from the silly and childish political world in Malaysia. For the last one month, I just took a glance in political news and spent most of the time enjoying the games and the gossip news about World Cup.
World Cup is over, but the BN & PR battle is just started. BN had started his gears for the coming general elections. In one hand, with the advise from their consultants, Najib had tried very hard to show to the people his willingness to transform with his proud slogan, "1 Malaysia".
In the other hand, BN also tried very hard to give tough resistance to his main rival, avoiding Pakatan Ratyat to continue and expand their influences to the people. They ban their publications, they spreads all rumours attacking the leaders, etc.
PR had to wake up their mind immediately, stop infighting and grabbing positions in the party. They have to work harder to convince more people to believe them.
So, what do you think Octopus Paul will pick in the next general election?

Korea vs Malaysia
Korea 2-0, won over Greece, the Euro 2004 champion.
This is not a joke, they really played well, not depended on luck like what people thought during the World Cup when they co-hosted the competition 2002.
They might not be the champ yet but they really improve.
The Korean team always reminds us the Merdeka Cup during 70's, when Malaysia team was still "on par"with Korea and always met in the final.
That was a big thing for Malaysian during that time, all people will look for friends, neighbour, coffee shop, etc whoever has black & white TV to watch the final between Malaysia vs Korea.
Sometimes Korea won, sometimes Malaysia won. But we were proud that time.
But now, when Korea team eyes for the World Cup, Malaysia team still talking about Merdeka Cup, satisfy and happy to be the champion by inviting those lower rank teams to participate.
And the joke is we still talking about those star during 70s like Mokhtar Dahari, Soh Chin Ann, Santokh Singh, etc.
Like we never play football for the last 30 years.

To STOP or NOT to STOP?
Car robbery, in fact, not only car robbery, is very serious in our country now.
My friend drove his 1 year old BMW 3 series along Jalan Ampang, KL the other day after visiting his brother in the hospital.
It was late night, not many cars on the street. Suddenly he felt something like stone hit his car. He tried to look at the back if any cars followed him.
There are few cars but nothing suspicious.
He decided to stop his car and take a look. When he stop his car, the car at the back suddenly stop also and 4 man came down. He is in dilemma, to stop or not to stop.
One of the man knocked his car with knife and pull him out from the car, so, it was a car robbery. The man cut "slightly" my friend's finger, it bleed. Then they took all his wallet, mobile phone, etc with his BMW.
"Luckily", my friend is safe.
And we joke with him," You are lucky, your finger was only cut not chopped. But in fact, you should drive away when you saw the car at the back stopped ."
The other friend said, "But what happen if they are police, they might shoot you from the back."
This is a sad joke, no intention to blame the police. But this is what actually happen to most of the people.
To STOP or NOT to STOP?

Sibu's MIRACLE
Sibu MIRACLE, couldn't believe it, really happened.
I started to follow Anilnetto live broadcast since this morning and the excitement was much more than the Thomas Cup. PR was left behind in the afternoon but SWING tremendously in the evening and finally won by 398 majority.
It is great, the Sibuan.
My Sibu friend called me and said,:" Look, do not look us down. We can also make the CHANGE."
Yes, SIBU 4 CHANGE. JOM UBAH!
The whole and future Malaysian will also remember you.
Some quick thoughts for this by-election:
a) When BN has left nothing but money and government resources, and all these also did not work, what are they going to do?
b) PR mark a step further in the rural area (like long houses) but it is still long way to go, they should not stop at this point and should go further into the rural area. PR could not go Putrajaya without all these penetrations.
c) A better team work and understandings among the PR coalition parties. They are more confident to face the attacks and differences between them and have more common directions now.
d) PAS and DAP have better campaign strategy but PKR needs to improve. They should have more dedicated politicians than the opportunists. People like Wee, Zahrain, Zul, etc are in this group and should be glad if they go.
e) Postal votes should be demolished and it is damned unfair and unnecessary nowadays.
Thanks again Sibuan bravely say NO to vote-buying and electoral bribery, and a lot could be learnt from this election for whole Malaysian.
Lastly, should PM honour his RM5million cheque?
He should honour it as the money shall be used to solve the drainage problems of the people, and the money is the People's money.

If the Campaign is only about Giving Money
If the campaign is only about giving money.
If the BN PM's job in by-election strategy is only giving money. (And it is our money, not his money)
Then anyone else also could be the PM. Nothing great if the PM ran here and there to give money, anyone also can pass the cheques to those who in fact should get the subsidy automatically and systematically.
But why all these schools or people still need the money after they had been supporting BN for the past 50 years. They should have been taken complete care by BN since 50 years ago.
Sarawak is a state that full of natural resources like oil & gas, the kayu balak, the land, etc but why the majority of the people still so poor and need money?
Why the schools still need the money?
Why the long house still need the money?
The rich family SUPP candidate and Sin Chew Chairman still so thick skin to "request" all attendees to stand up and give applause and gratitute to our 1 Malaysia PM because he is giving out money.
Shame on you.

What? May 13 Again?
What? May 13 again? Please, it is boring.
I am 41, born 20 days after May 13, 1969. Certainly, I did not experience myself how horror the situation was that period. However, my auntie staying in the Malay kampung that time told me that they lived peacefully and not tensed during the period. She only "heard" somethings happened in KL and some cities.
During my very young time, my father always lower his voice when talked about May 13. I did not know exactly why but felt uneasy later on about this date.
I asked my below 30 years old colleagues and they said they heard about May 13, but don't know what actually happened and no special feeling about this date.
Thus, the May 13 story seems like just an old man story. Only people like Azahar, Ibrahim Ali, and so on believed that this tactic is still effective to scare the people.
Didn't they know that this issue had been practically settled among the people during 308. The people had chosen the opposition party to replace the BN coalitions, without any fear.

Money Power temporary Leads
Congratulation to BN, again proof that money still powerful in any buy-election.
Frankly, it is hard for the Chinese society to resist the "corruption promise" of RM3mil for the school. Similarly, it is hard for the Felda settlers to reject the "gifts" of RM50,000 that they have been waiting for since 1994. After all, it is hard to wait the YB to pass away in your constituency to held the by-election.
Pakatan Rakyat lost 1725 votes or 3.5% among the 48935 voted, even they placed an iconic leaders of PKR. PR should treat this a serious alerts if they want to march into Putrajaya.
However, it is just a by-election, it is a sad day but not the end of day. Looking at the good parts of the defeat, carry out a deep analysis and post-mortem. The journey of change is not so simple and needs a longer struggles.
We achieve some good things through this by-election:
a) A better and committed co-operation among the coalitions, the leaders are more comfortable and confident sitting together in any occasions and any attacks on the coalitions by BN no longer works. A stronger coalitions is shaping up.
b) An opportunity to know more about the weak areas among the voters. Probably, PR should carry out more campaign and show them a good visions to convince more people especially those are still believe that only BN could bring development.
c) Carry out campaign for "voter get voters" to bring more qualify voters to register.
Of course, there are more to suggest from the political experts, but do it from now.
The majority is narrow, even though tons of money thrown in by BN. The winning by BN is temporary and a bigger battle is coming. Thus, the hope is still bright but the PR needs to work harder.
A fight of MARUAH
Anwar said this is a fight of MARUAH, a self-respect and dignity, in front of close to 15,000 attendees in the ceramah tonight.
Yes, this is a fight of MARUAH. The way BN campaign had shown their desperation, throwing money like "no government control", giving empty promises like last few elections, control the media, using all government vehicles, etc to buy and threaten votes.
In the report, BN had given close to RM60million in a combination of projects and cash to the voters. They also promise to keep their PROMISES MADE IN 1994 to settle the Felda settler. The settlers are lucky as they have by-election.
Whatever it is, our last hope that the by-election is conducted clean and that ZAID will win this election to keep our MARUAH and HOPE of Malaysia.

Biar Tukar Sekali Sehabis-habisnya
I am still busy setting up the new office and also on travelling mode. I got into a taxi this morning at LCCT to Putrajaya and the Malay driver, who originally from Perak, start chatting with me. He was a bit careful initially and asked me what I think about the by-election at Hulu Selangor.
I said I am supporting for change and in this case, I support Zaid Ibrahim. He was a bit relief and told me, "ya, biar tukar satu kali sehabis-habisnya." Now I understand his carefulness initially as he thought that I might bec related or worked for the government and "kebanyakan pekerja kerajaan takut undi pembankang", he said.
Yes, I might related to the government but the government is not owned by BN. A lot of people could not differentiate this.
The Hulu Selangor is important to continue the spirit of change among the people.
The driver said he did not agreed BN tactic of using alcohol issue on Zaid, probably BN have no other tactics. I agreed.
YB MCA Leow & Yen Yen, do you know that you are holding hands with someone who said Malay First and attacking someone who fight for the anti-racism? Do you know that if they can not accept Zaid for holding alcohol, can they accept your new President for naked in the CD?
Kamal+Alan+Nathan, do you know that you are kissing someone who ignore your President's choice of candidate? or might be you kiss to thank him for choosing you.
I think, what the driver said this morning is correct, "tak endah semua orang itu, biar tukar sekali sehabis-habisnya"

2-Malaysia
When the DPM Muhyiddin said 1 Malaysia means "Malay 1, Malaysian 2", we can understand that he might have confused about the concept of 1-Malaysia.
But when PM Najib, the father of 1 Malaysia said there is nothing wrong with "Malay 1, Malaysian 2", now our turn to get confuse, it seemed like it is us the Rakyat that do not understand the concept of 1 Malaysia.
If follow this logic, all different races should think this way:
Chinese 1, Malaysian 2.
Indian 1, Malaysian 2.
Kadazan 1, Malaysian 2, etc..
Then we should called 2-Malaysia instead of 1-Malaysia.
What a joke in this April Fool Day.
Seemed like we are the fool that still trust them.

3-Leg Mahjung Contest Association
Of course I am not purposely going there. So happened that I was next door of MCA building visiting my client. So happened that MCA having their nomination day today.
I "jia pa bo shu zuo" (nothing to do after lunch) and walked over there to share the spirit of nomination. It was crowded with supporters and banners.
My friend said MCA is not One MCA anymore. Last time, they only wear white shirt even though they are in different gang. But now, they have orange, they have blue, they have red and they have white shirts.
The final top fight is between the ex-President, Ka Ting, the current president, tee keat and the "banyak mahu to be president", Soi Lek.
My friend asked,"Who will you vote, if you are central delegate?"
Frankly, i really do not know who to vote. I really hope that MCA could choose someone else from its 1 million members.
Ka Ting might get the votes from the previous delegates and those who had fed up with the recent fiery battle. But, could he win the heart of Chinese community, the voters for the next general election? We all know how he worked so far as President of MCA before 308, do you want to try him one more time?
Actually, I felt that Tee Keat used to be the hope for MCA to reinvent after 308. But I think he missed the opportunity in recent battle and the opportunity will not come back to him.
Soi Lek has strong grassroots supports and we never see how he perform as President. But his killing controversial sex CD scandal making his leadership unconvinced.
Even the senior MCA members said he did not think the party would unite in short time after the fresh election.
But the major issue is, could MCA gain back the heart of Chinese community in the coming general election which might happen within 18 months.

Frienship in Politics
Friendship is fragile in politics.
Or more correctly, there is no friendship in politics.
Chua Soi Lek quit MCA Central Committee together with another 7 members, paving way for the fresh party election.
The "friendship" between the 3 party must be reorganise again.
Before EGM, Ong & Liow in one team to sack Chua as deputy president, saying that Chua is immoral.
After EGM, friendship between Liow & Ong collaspsed as Ong did not resign as promised before the EGM. Ong "boh chap xiao" them and reluctant to leave the MCA presidental seat.
Liow and his allies continue to push for fresh election. Ong continue to "boh chap xiao" and suddently, One announced that he had decided to work together with Chua to implement the "Great Unity Plan".
And now, Chua and his allies quit MCA CC and "help" Liow to get enough supports to call for party election.
Now, let us summarise their relationshilp.
Ong + Liow ===> Chua (Immoral)
Ong + Chua ===> Liow (Greater Unity Plan)
Liow + Chua ===> Ong (Fresh polls)
All happened in 5 months. What type of friendship is that?

Indecent Proposal
When I read someone is taking RM2 millions to defect his own party reminds me an interesting story that the Penangkia always like to talk about.
Few years back in Penang, there was a very rich & young playboy did something like what is in the movie "Indecent Proposal". One day, he met a very beautiful women and got attracted. But unfortunately she was married.
He could not resist to let her go and finally he got an idea, giving the husband an indecent proposal, RM2 million to "buy " over her wife. and ask the husband to let her go.
RM2 million or the wife?
Most of you might said how could we compare the money with our wife, wife is invaluable. so do I. But this is because you could still survive without RM2mil and with the wife around.
However, if one day, you really get into trouble and when you really need the money to make you alive. Would you reconsider the offer?
The story ended with the husband took up the offer of RM2 million.
So does this MP. RM2 million or the People?
And we heard many more MPs are going to do that too.
